Craig
Reisinger, CCIM is a Principal Broker for Advocate Commercial Real
Estate, LLC. He graduated from Furman University in 1976 with
a BA degree in Business Administration. After
three years with IBM Corporation's Data Processing Division as a Marketing
Representative (100% Club), Craig has enjoyed success in Atlanta's office
market representing both Landlords and Tenants, and in office
property development. He is a Life Member and Phoenix Award Recipient of The Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors'
Million Dollar Club. Through professional education
and a track record of experience and successful real estate transactions,
he earned his CCIM designation in May of 1994.
Craig formed Cornerstone Commercial Real Estate Services, Inc. in April
of 1995 to represent the interests of Tenants in Metropolitan Atlanta’s
office market. With substantial formal training (See “Professional Training
& Education”) and over twenty years experience in Atlanta's commercial real
estate market, Craig has a thorough understanding of the elements necessary
to complete a successful real estate transaction. He brings this experience
to bear through market knowledge, negotiating skills and loyal service
orientation to his Clients. His focus is to enable his Clients to make
confident, intelligent real estate decisions just as they make other business
decisions within their own areas of expertise.
In 2004, Cornerstone Commercial Real Estate joined forces with
Peter Webster's Hubbard Brush Commercial. Advocate Commercial Real
Estate is the result.
The Certified Commercial Investment Member
(CCIM) designation was established
in 1969, and exemplifies the real estate industry’s highest professional
and ethical standards. It is awarded to professionals who have completed
240 hours of graduate level courses in financial analysis, commercial
brokerage, market analysis, tax planning, managing and marketing troubled
assets, and negotiation. They have also fulfilled standards for experience
and successful real estate transactions.
Of the estimated 125,000 commercial practitioners nationwide, only
approximately 6,500 currently hold the CCIM designation. Certified Commercial
Investment Members, however, are geographically widespread, and are in
more marketplaces than all major real estate companies combined. In an
average calendar year, CCIMs successfully complete approximately 60,000
transactions representing over $27 billion.
Though recognized for an expertise of commercial real estate investment,
CCIMs play a primary role in leasing by structuring lease agreements to
the maximum benefit of the client. They determine what provisions must
be specified in a lease to meet client objectives, including measuring
and projecting necessary revenues and expenditures, and analyzing the
financial impact of certain lease provisions. Their years of specialized
education and market experience help them to direct clientele throughout
the complexities of lease or purchase transactions.
